Practices

Four areas in which the firm advises and appears — in contentious matters and, more often, in the counsel that precedes them.

01

Business Law

Advice and representation across the commercial life of a company, from formation and governance to the disputes that follow from them.

  • Commercial law
  • Company law
  • Banking law
  • Intellectual property
  • Competition law
  • Employment law
02

Public Law

Matters where the counterparty is the administration itself, and where procedure often decides the outcome before the merits are reached.

  • Administrative law
  • Tax law
  • Public finance
03

International Law

Cross-border questions for foreign companies operating in Morocco and Moroccan companies operating abroad.

  • Private international law
  • Public international law
04

Higher Education Law

A field the firm knows from inside the institutions it governs — university statutes, accreditation, academic governance and the disputes arising from them.

Advice and representation

The firm has carried judicial proceedings through to their conclusion before the Moroccan courts and resolved complex matters for its clients.

The team works to obtain the best available outcome: protecting our clients' rights, interests and assets, and securing compensation for the harm they have suffered. Alongside that, we advise clients so as to minimise the risk of litigation in the first place and to give them what they need to make the sounder decision.

How we are engaged

Three forms of engagement, each governed by its own written agreement.

01

Standing counsel

Legal assistance and advice under an annual retainer, for companies that would rather ask the question early than litigate it later.

02

Litigation

Representation before the Moroccan courts under a matter-specific agreement, from first instance through appeal.

03

Arbitration

Arbitration work accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, whether the firm sits as counsel or the matter is referred to it.
